The SDG Innovation Award is a collaboration between the German Senate of Economy, UNIDO and Holtmann +. Together we are committed to implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

As ideal carrier As the initiator, the German Senate of Economy is committed to significantly increasing awareness, visibility and identification with the Sustainable Development Goals, as the global sustainability goals are still not well known in business and society. The Senate of Economy acts in a solution- and public welfare-oriented manner, is independent of sectors, and does not represent particular interests, and as a community of values it unites expertise from business, science, society and culture.
The award recognizes companies, institutions, initiatives, educational institutions, cities and municipalities that make an exemplary contribution to achieving the target system of the SDGs.
UNIDO
UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) was founded in 1966 and is a specialized agency of the United Nations with more than 170 member states.
UNIDO has defined the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 9 of the United Nations as its core task: sustainable industrial development, innovation and infrastructure.
UNIDO supports developing and emerging countries in building a sustainable and environmentally friendly economic infrastructure and is committed to sustainable industrial development.
In cooperation with the Senate of Economy, UNIDO will present the UNIDO Innovation Award for the first time in 2023.
Holtmann+
In cooperation with the German Senate of Economy, Holtmann+ takes over the creative conception and implementation of the SDG Innovation Award.
Holtmann+ sees the SDG Innovation Awards as an opportunity to give a platform to people who are already planning and implementing exciting and relevant projects.
The company offers live communication and a direct target group approach. From the first idea, through strategy, conception and design, to planning and implementation. Sustainability in all forms is an important factor that is considered holistically.
That is why Holtman+ is taking on the SDG Innovation Awards with great passion and sees the collaboration with the German Senate of Economy as the perfect prerequisite for a successful award.
